So I know it's been well over a month since I last blogged, but I've been somewhat busy.  However, I have been bored out of my mind for the last 2 days so I figured now was the perfect time to give some sort of update.

The last month has been pretty good. Much better than the previous month.  While still going to summer school and working, me and Scott were able to work out some relationship issues and things have been great between us for the most part.  We went to the Taste of Chicago back at the end of June, celebrated Scott's 21st and 4th of July.  We went to the top of the Sear's Tower.  We celebrated our 6 month anniversary back on July 1st.  Things have been nice.

This past weekend I went up to Lake Geneva with some friends and that was fun.  Didn't seem to last long enough, but hey, some vacation is better than no vacation.  Speaking of vacation, Scott is now in California and that is why I have been so bored lately, haha.  I spent the night at his place Sunday and drove him to the train station on Monday morning.  It is now only Wednesday morning.  Just barely over 48 hours since I last saw him.  I feel so pathetic.  Every little thing reminds me of him.  Even stupid things like seeing a commercial for the new iphone (which he has).  I try to keep myself busy, but at the end of the day, I still miss him more than anything.

In other news, about a week and a half ago, someone stole the radio/CD player, my ipod, and a case full of CDs out of my car while it was parked right outside my house.  What. The. Hell.  I have since bought a new ipod, but being that my car is already a piece of shit, I'm waiting to get a new car before buying a new stereo.  And that means I have no music in my car.  Which totally sucks.  I love music.  It is a huge part of my life.  And now all I hear is silence.  It's slightly depressing.  However, I'm planning on going car test driving sometime this week.  I'm thinking a Mitsubishi Eclipse.  I deserve a nicer car.  I've been driving my crap car for over 5 years now.  It's about time for something new(er).

Well, I can't really think of anything else to write about at the moment.  I have nothing planned for the day but a long list of errands, so perhaps today will be an errand day.  At least it's something to do.  *Sigh*

So this blog is totally pointless other than to say that I just bought a new bathing suit today and I'm unsure how I feel about it at the moment.  It's like... half one piece and half two piece.  I normally wear a bikini, but I fell in love with this suit when I saw it on the hangar.  And now that I've tried it on, while I still adore it, I'm unsure if I can pull it off.  If anyone would like to comment, please tell me what you think.
